I have a form for my team that includes an attachment field for images. Every so often, someone uploads an unnecessarily large image and it triggers out-of-memory errors in my Pipedream workflows that run when the form is submitted.

It would be wonderful if I could add limits to how big attachments can be. I see that this has been requested before and I’m assuming it’s still not possible, but if anyone has suggestions for how to deal with this issue, please let me know!

Ooh, I got here first so it's my turn to say Fillout!

If you use Fillout as your form solution feeding to your Airtable base, this is a function Fillout offers. In the upload file options you set a size limit (in MB increments).

Lol @DisraeliGears01, you won this time.

Hey @Celeste_Bancos,  as mentioned by @DisraeliGears01 you will probably want to check out Fillout as it (i) has a direct integration with Airtable, AND (ii) allows you to set a limit to the file size -see screenshot below.

Feel free to grab a slot as needed if you need any help setting this up 😃. We can go through it together in only a few minutes.

Hello @Celeste_Bancos,

You can use forms that integrate with Airtable.

For instance, Plumsail Forms allows you to limit the file type and size.

Hi @Celeste_Bancos,

As others have mentioned above, you would need to turn to a 3rd-party app to do this.

If you choose to use Fillout (which is 100% free), I give some fantastic demonstrations of Fillout’s advanced features on the 2 Airtable podcasts below:

Fillout offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to update Airtable records using a form, display Airtable lookup fields on forms, accept payments on forms, collect signatures on a form, and much more.

Hope this helps!
