Is it possible to have a linked record be filtered by using IS logic? When using the filtering tool and selecting the linked field, I’m only given the four text options and no IS option (see below).
I’d like to have it be like this (see below).

+9Because Airtable has not implemented that yet, and because Single Select cannot use a formula, you’re stuck with using an automation upon Record Creation (Or whenever that field becomes unempty) to take that value and place it in a Single Select field.
