Hello - I’m new to Airtable and using it to collect some data, we have 2 tables with information 1- Names (Primary Field) with details 2 - standarized questions (Primary Field) and one table with consolidated information Table #3


Primary field on this table 3 needs to be Name from table1 and questions from table2 needs to various tabs. I’m able to link all questions from table2 per name.


Problem Statement- Unable to get Names from table 1 to 3, every comment/ note updated for questions on table 3 is being replicated on table 2


Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I’m having trouble understanding exactly what you are trying to accomplish. It sounds like you have the tables.

1) Names and person details

2) Standardized questions

3) Consolidated info

It sounds like you are trying to have names from table 1 and answers from table 2 to merge in table 3. Is this correct?

Hi @Chris_Williams1 - small correction, names from table 1 and questions from table 2 to merge in table 3


Two challenges i’m facing here


1 - Primary field in Table 3 needs to be a lookup value (name) from table 1

2 - In table 3 while answering questions (link to record table 2) the answers get linked back to the source question (table 2)
