Hi, I run a small tv/film production company and am trying to find and/or create a simple log to track material that’s submitted to us that includes: submitted by, material type, date, author, notes, priority etc. Thank you.

+15This may be rather late, but this sounds fairly simple. Create a table with all the fields that you need, and then you can create a form on that table using those fields.
Submitters can send everything in for most of those items and you avoid copy errors and duplication. Then you have your specific fields (that you don't put on the form) for your own use.
