Make.com sync to Google Sheets question

I’m wondering how or if a Make or Zapier sync model can detect changes on field types that can’t trigger the ‘last modified’ field that the sync is based on. If no editable fields on the record are ever changed, would the sync detect changes on a rollup field?

What’s a best practice way to achieve this?

This is the best way of handling this:

  1. Start with an Airtable automation that monitors your rollup field for updates.
  2. Then, your Airtable automation would instantly trigger your custom webhook in Make by using the script that I outline in this post: Instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable.

And that’s it! Very easy! :)

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
