For the timeline view I'm working on, I have one task that I want to have appear every Monday for a period of several months—is there a way to do this more efficiently than entering each occurrence individually in Grid View? Feel like that would take me at least a couple hours, just for a single task amongst many in this timeline.

This is a great question! While we do not yet support recurring tasks, you could create your first task and then duplicate it and use a date field to input a few of the dates regularly spaced (e.g. Mondays or the first day of the month) and then use the fill handle to update the rest of the dates at regularly spaced intervals:
A way to natively support recurring events would be a great addition to the product. I encourage you to post this idea in the Product Ideas section as I am sure others might be looking for similar functionality. Hope the workaround above helps!
