Practical examples of components for fields and automations

Hi all,

I’m looking for examples or scenarios of when and how you are using components not for entire workflows and bases, but for fields and automations. I’m also interested in understanding the impact on time savings for creating components vs instructing users to just copy or set-up their own fields and automations.

Hey @jpierce1,

If my personal insight is of any use to you: I’ve been implementing Airtable systems for clients for some years now. Many of such clients are Enterprise clients.
Yet I am not using components. -I might be using it soon for one specific client. TBH it hasn’t been the game changer I thought it would be.

What is your experience with them btw?

Would love @ScottWorld’s opinion on this matter as well.

Thanks for tagging me, @Mike_AutomaticN!

I have not yet used components with any of my Enterprise clients, so unfortunately, I can’t give any guidance on this!

Thanks @ScottWorld!

@jpierce1 not sure if that was the type of answers you were expecting to receive 😂

Please do let us know if you get to use them and what is your experience like.
