The interface makes zero logical sense.  There are no error messages.  The Help documentation is written for a specific example, not understanding of how to use the tool. The Interface is broken and non consistent.

I'm a big advocate for Airtable, but this is just atrocious in design and implementation for something that is so simple in concept.

 

I agree - It took a lot of trial and error to wrap my head around the record templates functionality, which was something we desperately needed.  I still find the interface where you create your template completely mind boggling
