Is there a way to give a user access to 1 base in a workspace, but not another? Thanks!

Hi all- I did open a support ticket and for anyone that couldn't figure this out, the step was to first remove the other user from the workspace, then manually add them to the individual bases that you wanted to include access to. Hope this helps others!

Hello @LaurenMaine,
I don't think it's possible. When you give workspace access to any of the users it should have access to all the bases within it.

Read this in the Airtable Help:
https://support.airtable.com/docs/airtable-permissions-overview#leaving-a-base-interface-or-workspace
Expand To remove your access to a base:
See the Note: section

That seems to be more about permissions and I'm not looking to remove my access to a base.

You're right but please read this twice. just think opposite side of it.

If you can't get out from single base if you've workspace access then it's works same you can't restrict any user to access specific base if they have workspace access.

Hmm, if I were you I'd just remove them from my workspace and all the bases that I don't want them to have access to?  Sorry, feels like I'm missing something!

Yeap that's fine, you can give people access to one Base in a Workspace only and they won't be able to see any of the other Bases in that Workspace?

Yes, that's what I'd like to do. Do you know how?

Thanks. Yeah I looked at those instructions and unfortunately, I am unable to select the check box next to the collaborator's name.  It won't allow me to select them.

Sounds like a permissions issue?  Might want to open a support ticket with Airtable directly at this point I think!
