Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the multiple/single select fields.

I've built a database for our team and we recently started using it. The only hiccup I encountered is with Multiple select fields: what I would like to have is a restriction for editors so that they would not be able to create new options within a multiple/single select field. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way of doing it, and as for now, all the editors are able to create new options. This leads to the creation of new options if someone, by mistake, presses enter after having typed a non-existing voice.

Would you know how we can avoid that?

Thank you very much in advance

I agree with you that this would be a fantastic improvement!

In the meantime, the best & only workaround for doing this would be to change those fields into a linked record field, and in the linked table, change the permissions ot the entire table so that editors can't add new records.
