I am seeking to set up a new base for my Podcast with all the lessons learned from using airtable the last several month, however I am unsure the best way to go about planning a whole new base.  Is there any suggestions for best practices?

Hm if you could talk a bit more about your workflows and the data you’re planning on storing that’d be helpful!

Hey @TeriTrueCrime,

Please feel free to provide as much context as possible. Also, feel free to schedule a brief call if you’d like to go through your specific needs together.

In any case, you might want to have:
1. Episodes table: Episode number, date, brief, status, Guests (linked record field)
2. Guests table: First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.

The above would be be a super lean setup.
If you need to invite/brainstorm guests and track their confirmation status, you might want to have a junction table for Guests<>Episodes (you can check out this video on junction tables for Airtable).
If you need to handle tasks per episode (e.g. edition, etc) you might want to check out this video on project management for Airtable.
If you need to assign tasks to different contractors, you might also want to include a Contractors table, to then assign tasks to them.

Completely different matter, but would love to have you join our Airtable Hackathon! Make sure to sign up!!
