I need to work with 2,500 - 3,000 records for a 6-Mo/1-Yr project. Once the records are loaded there will be no need to ADD primary records; maybe a few variables in associated tables. Only one ‘Seat’ is needed; no team collaboration. When the project concludes if I change the Base to the Free plan what will happen to the records over the 1’000 limit?

That’s sort of an Airtable loophole that you’ve hit upon there. After you downgrade to the free plan, all 3,000 of your records will still remain in your base, and you will still be able to view all 3,000 of your records and edit all 3,000 of your records. However, you won’t be able to add any new records to your base.

I have Airtable credits. Can I pay for Plan Upgrades with those credits?

What do you mean by Airtable credits? Do you have a screenshot that shows what you’re referring to?

Credits in my account for referrals to Airtable.

Second question: If I revert a paid plan back to Free and delete a record can I replace that record if the total # of records are still exceeding the Free 1,000 threshold? Just looking for another ‘loophole’ :-)… doesn’t hurt to ask.

Yes, you can apply those credits to your workspace. You’ll need to do that before your next bill. I don’t know about the other question.
