Using Datasets Across Workspaces

Hopefully a quick yes/no.

I have several published datasets right now serving multiple bases all within one workspace.

I’m about to split out our workspace into several for permissions control reasons. Will the dataset still be available to other workspaces (all under the same account), or is a dataset limited to just the one workspace it is created in?

No, published datasets aren't locked to the workspace they were created in. The sync is driven by the shared view link, so as long as that link is active, any base under the same account (or even outside it) can connect to it. Splitting into multiple workspaces won't break your existing syncs or prevent new ones from connecting to the same source.
