Where to make changes to field order so the changes appear in all views, and in the Expanded Record View?

Each view has its own unique field order and visibility among other configurations, so any changes you make in one view won’t automatically appear in every other view.

That said, you can apply the field order from one view to another in a few ways:
• You can click the down arrow next to the selected view name in the upper left and choose “Copy Another View’s Configuration” and copy the field order from another view. I often create a “template” view with a standard field order and copy from that so I have one place to make changes/copy from.
• You can now have Claude hide/unhide fields in views, so you could also have Claude reference a specific view and then match the configuration in various other views if you don’t want to do it manually.

For the 2nd part, this depends on the record details you’re expanding:

• If you’re expanding a record in the table you’re currently in, it shows fields in the order of the current view.
• If you’re clicking to expand a linked record, it shows fields in the order of the top most view in the table where the linked records live. In this case, I sometimes create a locked view at the top of the view list in my linked table to keep the fields in a specific order.
