My Team plan has reached its API Public rate limit, evidently.

It’s never happened before.

How do I see my usage?

Is there anything I can do-- can I get some more for this period?

Here is some helpful information for you:

  1. On the Teams plan, you get a total of 100,000 API calls per workspace per month. You can check how many API calls you’ve used so far by going into your workspace settings.

  2. On the Business and Enterprise plans, you get an unlimited number of API calls, so you could upgrade to Business to remove your limit. Alternatively, you could try emailing support@airtable.com to see if they can reset your limit for this month.

  3. You can only make 5 API requests per second per base, as outlined here:
    https://airtable.com/developers/web/api/rate-limits

  4. If you’re exceeding 5 API requests per second, one way to slow down your requests is by using Make’s advanced automations for Airtable, which gives you a “sleep” tool. If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread.

Hope this helps!

Try heading to Workspace settings and scrolling all the way to the bottom

There’s a section called ‘Public API usage’:

I’m not entirely sure it’s working right though; when I look at it for a workspace I’m pretty sure has API usage it shows it as no usage?

Hm, I think the safest way would be to upgrade your plan, really

If you’re really desperate you could try upgrading another workspace and moving your base there?
