Connect to Lightspeed U Series Restaurant POS?

Hello,

I’m curious if anyone here has connected Airtable to Lightspeed restaurant U Series POS?  Either directly from Airtable to Lightspeed or indirectly with a third party like Zapier.  

 

I’m trying to pull daily sales and labor data from my POS into Airtable.  We are working on creating better internal tools that our managers can have access to.  Tools that would track our main expenses like labor and COGS.  

 

I’m having a hard time getting the connection done.  Airtable is not currently an integration partner with Lightspeed U Series.  Neither is Zapier or something like Make.com.  So I’m looking for someone with experience with these specific platforms.

 

The people at Lightspeed have not been super helpful.  I know I can’t be the first person to try to pull data to Airtable (or even something like Google Sheets).

I’ve never used LightSpeed before, but it looks like Make offers native support for LightSpeed.

I would definitely recommend using Make instead of Zapier, because Make is INFINITELY more powerful & customizable than Zapier, yet it is SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than Zapier.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you can instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable. 

I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances. For example, in this video, I show how to work with Airtable arrays in Make.

I don’t think it’s possible right even with Make because you are talking about Lightspeed U series and Make offers integration only with Lightspeed Ecom which is different from the U series.

You may want to ask their support if you can get access to their API as an individual because then you can query it using Zapier or Make. You can check all the Lightspeed U series integrations on their website.

If it’s not possible, I think you are a bit locked in their system and have to sync with their existing integrations. Hope it helps!
