We are a not for profit organization involved in promoting a fascinating Indian Sport called Mallakhamb.

We use a combination of Airtable for data storage and sharing and fillout forms connected to Airtable base for  use by public for signups.

I would like to understand the contribution of each part of Airtable - data, calculations, automations, shared views and fillout forms , towards the Public API usage.

Your API usage does not come from internal data, calculations, automations, or shared views.

Your API usage only comes from external apps that are communicating with Airtable, such as when you are using Fillout or Make.

You can see how many API requests you have used up this month by going into your “Workspace Settings”, then clicking on the “Usage” tab at the top, and then scrolling down to the very bottom of the page.

Note that only “owners” of the workspace can gain access to the Workspace Settings, so if you are only a “creator” on your workspace, you won’t be able to get into your Workspace Settings.

Also note that there is only a restriction on the number of API requests if you are on the free plan or the teams plan. The business plan and the enterprise plan give you an unlimited number of API requests per month.

Hope this helps!

If you have a budget and you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with this or anything else that is Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
