I have a table with Rating field which can have value up to 7.
With current API I can get value for each record, but I can’t get metadata for that field, to know possible max value.
Is it possible at all?

Unfortunately, this is not currently possible with the metadata API.

Thanks for response @ScottWorld
Are there any plans to add such an API?

I don’t know. I am just another Airtable user, just like you. Airtable employees rarely visit us here in the forums.

You may want to email support@airtable.com to ask them about supporting this feature in the future. It makes sense that this metadata should be returned!
