Hi everyone,

Has anyone implemented an integration between AirTable and qTest? We’re looking to connect the two systems to sync test data or manage test cases more efficiently.

I’d appreciate any guidance, documentation, or best practices on how to set up this integration — especially around API configurations or automation workflows (Zapier, scripts, etc.).

Thanks in advance!

qTest seems to be a niche tool.

Find if it supports API calls to get the data you need. Call them or email. If they don’t, forget about the project, or switch to someone who supports API. A tool that doesn’t have a decent API isn’t worth the headache and potential lock-in in 2025.

If there’s an API, find a dev (or let me know) and get a N8n instance or an airbyte instance set up to sync data from qTest to Airtable.

Done.

Hmm, if you’re talking about the Tricentis tool, it mentions having a Jira integration, so you could potentially do a roundabout thing where you sync to Jira then from Jira to Airtable?

Any chance you could link to the documentation of the specific tool you’re talking about?

@ChandraYakkali

You can very easily integrate Airtable with any external app that has a REST API by using Make’s advanced automations & integrations.

Since Make doesn’t natively support your app amongst its natively-supported 3,100+ apps, you would need to write your own custom API calls by using Make’s HTTP modules.

Any expert Airtable consultant should be able to help you write these API calls, because they’re standard REST API calls.

If you’ve never used Make before, I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable. And in this video, I show how to work with Airtable arrays in Make.

BTW: Zapier competes against Make, but I would highly recommend staying away from Zapier for the reasons that I outline in this thread. Make is INFINITELY more powerful & customizable than Zapier, yet it is SIGNIFICANTLY CHEAPER than Zapier.

Hope this helps!

Yes — this could definitely be possible.

Sure — please see the documentation link for Tricentis qTest’s integration with Jira:
