is it possible to print airtable generated barcodes?
Hi
I want to be able to generate a barcode/QR code upon approval of incoming goods.
Once generated, each packet that has been approved (receipted) from incoming goods needs to be able to be printed in bulk along with the details of each packet.
The packet tag will then need to be viewed within Softr interface when scanned via the users mobile camera.
Anyone have experience with making this work with Softr as front end (for taking the camera scan) with AT as backend? Or any suggestions?@ScottWorld @Mike_AutomaticN @TheTimeSavingCo ?

There are a few different QR Code generators in the Airtable Marketplace, although I haven’t personally used any of them because I generate all of my QR codes by using Make’s Barcode module.
When it comes to printing documents, I typically use Documint or Docs Automator to generate my PDF files, which would automatically appear in an Airtable attachment field… and then I can print from there.
As long as you have a linked record field that contains all the records that you want to print, those apps can “loop through” all of the records inside your linked record field and print multiple records on a page. So, for your needs, that would enable you to print multiple QR codes on a page.
Sorry, I don’t have any experience with Softr, so I can’t give you any guidance there!
I never had this specific need, but as mentioned by Scott above you could take a look at any of the following extensions:
What kind of incoming goods are we taking about? Are these delivered to you by Fedex, UPS, other? If so, you might as well leverage their own label? This might be a completely diff use case.
