I built a small site using Softr + Airtable (Free plan, working as a data sourcing). My site reaches Airtable API calls litmit very soon every month. Just a few days, the limit of 1000 calls has run out. I don’t think there are so many visitors to my site. I want to know whether one API call is counted when one visit to my site?

My site is https://www.petfairsea.com/ can anyone help point out the reason of this issue. If there are really so many visitors, I’d have to upgrade to team plan. Thank you in advance.

You’re going to want to reach out to Softr to get more information on how they structure their API calls I reckon

At the very least I think they’re going to be doing one call for each List element you’ve got, and so if you’ve got multiple Lists in a page, it’d be one call per list.  If you’ve got pagination on the List, then that may or may not be an additional API call depending on how Softr’s handling it

Hey @Breezer,

I don’t think this will really solve your issue, but you might be able to get some insights out of it.
Within your workspace settings, under the Usage tab, you can see how many API calls your Workspace and/or bases have used.

In this way you could potentially try to figure out when call spikes occur (if any) and try to understand what is going on?

Public API Usage

Softr

OAuth

Above is the usage of my API calls. I tried to contact Softr, but they blocked my account after I post this issue on their community...

Re: Usage of your api calls, you can try sharing a screenshot (not sure that will hep us though). The url you shared redirects me to my own Airtable Builder hub.

Re: Contacting Softr. That is strange! You might want to reach out to support@softr.io

Do keep us posted!!
