Running an example script from the Scripting block docs inside the Airtable Electron app (on Windows) generates an error. Running the same script in a browser view of Airtable (in my case: Firefox) works as expected.

Thanks for providing this information! We are aware that scripting block doesn’t currently work in the desktop app and hope to address this soon. In the meantime, we recommend accessing the scripting block through your browser as Martin mentioned.

The scripting block should start working on desktop apps as of now. You may have to reload your window if you had it open before by going to Go > Reload or hitting ⌘-R / Control-R.
