I don’t want to be overly negative as I love Airtable, as do my clients. But can Airtable slow down in integrating new features without proper testing. In the past couple of weeks since developers integrated Interface/data layout into one in the home view, there have been so many bugs in the system.

I am all for new integrating and love the direction the company is going. However, don’t be premature about it. Every time I am using Airtable now there are new bugs and I don’t have time to send Airtable developers feedback and examples... It’s hard to keep up (more a clients perspective) with new features, new layouts and new bugs. To the developers, just make sure your ready before publishing new layouts and features please 🙏

I agree with you! Unfortunately, the Airtable employees and developers are not reading your comments here — it is just your fellow Airtable users here.

So I would be sure to take these 2 steps:

  1. Email your complaints to support@airtable.com
  2. Fill out this form with your complaints.

Hope this helps!

Hey @Valentino_Escal!

I fully agree. Specially with “I don’t have time to send examples etc...”, but unfortunately steps mentioned by Scott above are our only route for now I believe. Hope this bugs (or not so great ux issues) can get solved soon.

Hi Mike,

Have your team been experiencing considerable lag when using Airtable on a web browser? Every time I make changes to a field or switch between tables it takes at several seconds. This is happening to me on a PC or a laptop, Chrome or MS Edge. This was not a problem before the new UI update that I believe came out last week?

Hey @alice_k_dugan!

Not really. I don’t think we are seeing that on our end (or anything different to regular times). Did you make any recent changes to your schema?

You might be interested in taking a look at this post were some experienced developers share their experiences re: performance. Not sure this is what’s happening with your base, but just in case.
