Hellooooo!

 

Just wondering if there are any UK Edu Space users in this group.

 

I am an ex teacher (god, I wish I had known Airtable existed when I was teaching) and now run a virtual assistance agency - we work mainly with tutors and other edu businesses in the UK and further afield, and we use Airtable for lots of them - main use case tends to be organising content creation, mapping other accounts (such as complex email marketing accounts, linking tags to automations for example), basic CRMs for solo business owners…

 

Would love to hear about other use cases both in and outside of the school system over here!

Hey! I work at a university - our main use case is using Airtable for production of learning assets, teaching staff, etc for courses we create. Have also made a base that runs enrolment and certification for users. Currently working on some AI topic tagging for our course catalogue!

    Ooooh that is VERY cool. Do you link it to other softwares via API for the enrolment or is it all run through Airtable?

    I think learning assets is a really strong case - one of my fave things about Airtable is the use as a single, central source of truth where all current assets can live so there is no doubt about version numbers etc

    Yeah, our software developer has done some clever things to make it run, but the data is all in airtable and knows who to enrol, who needs a certificate etc etc. 

     

    Yes, exactly, single source of truth 🙏🏻. I’m currently smooshing various teams’ course data together so everything is one place rather than 526 spreadsheets that all have slightly different versions - it makes my brain happy!

      Hahahaha ooooh I hear you on the eleventy billion spreadsheets - one of my most used phrases with new clients is “does this REALLY belong in a spreadsheet?”
