I am using the Web Prototype agent but I can’t figure out how do you download the design file when it’s complete? I don’t see a download link/button anywhere.

Hey Walker! You're right, there's no download button. Let me share what I found after digging into this.

I connected to the Airtable API to inspect what happens after the prototype is generated. The prototype is hosted externally on V0.dev (vusercontent.net) and the URL is stored as an attachment in the field with a security token. When you try to open that URL directly, it doesn't load. The token-based protection prevents external access, so there's no clean way to grab the file from outside Airtable right now.

From inside the viewer you're stuck. No export, no copy code, no direct link that works outside the platform.

Worth noting: the Web Prototype agent is still in AI Labs, which means it's in beta. This kind of limitation is exactly the sort of thing that tends to get addressed before a feature goes into a stable release, so it's likely just a matter of time.

Hope that helps in some way!

Thanks, @LucasPereira! I discovered the same. What good is generating a prototype if you can’t do anything with it outside of Airtable? This is a rhetorical question, of course.

Hey @MilhoanDesign!

For sure you are already aware of this, but you will probably want to submit this as a product idea/feature request using this form: https://community.airtable.com/p/product-ideas
