In airtable form the column should be visible when 2 column values together should be 100%.

1st Question:

For example, as shown in the screenshot below, in the Airtable Form, when a user updates Tag 1 and Tag 2 so that their total equals 100%, Tag 3 and Tag 4 should no longer be visible in the form. If the tags do not total 100%, all three remaining tags (Tag 2, Tag 3, and Tag 4) should remain visible.

2nd Question:

Is there an option or way in Airtable forms to prevent users from submitting the form if the total Tag does not equal 100%?

Unfortunately neither of these is possible with Airtable at this time.  Try using Fillout for this; their free plan has 1k submissions per month and it should do what you need I think: https://www.fillout.com/

@Zabee Pasha

As Adam said above, you will need to use Fillout’s advanced forms for Airtable for this, because it communicates directly with Airtable and can do what you requested.

Fillout is 100% free, and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including the ability to perform math or other live calculations on your formsupdate Airtable records using a form, display Airtable lookup fields on forms, create new linked records on a form, control access to a form via SSO or email domains, accept payments on forms, collect signatures on a form, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, connect a single form to dozens of external apps simultaneously, add CAPTCHAs to your form, and much more.

I show how to use a few of the advanced features of Fillout on these 2 Airtable podcast episodes:

Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

You’ll absolutely want to go with Fillout. And PLEASE submit as a feature request using this link. Airtable is really running behind on their form features.

If you need any help setting up your Fillout form, feel free to grab a slot using this other link and I’d be happy to show you around.

Hello @Zabee Pasha,

As mentioned, this isn't possible with Airtable forms. However, you can design a form using a third-party app like Plumsail Forms for Airtable.

You can design a form and make it dynamic by showing/hiding fields based on other field values, performing calculations, and adding custom validation to check the form before submission. All of this is done with JavaScript, so you are not limited by the complexity of your requirements.
