I’m trying to create a Text field that combines two existing fields that are separated by a dash and a space. I’m using the formula tab but keep getting this error message. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

I’m new to Air Table so I’m assuming this is a rookie mistake :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi Laura. I would say it might be your double quotes. Make sure they look like " or use single quote like '. Also, I’m assuming that the first argument, {Projects}, is in this table.

Thank you. Yes, Projects is in this table. I tried using single quotes and I got the same error message.

This is very frustrating! I appreciate your help in trying to troubleshoot.

If anyone can think of other potential issues with this formula, please let me know. Thanks!

SOLVED - I had to de-select “smart punctuation” in my settings for my keyboard on my IPad. Thanks for the tip about the quotation marks.
