for a given record, I have data attached to linked records of linked records that I’d like to lookup.
I remember this was really easy to do in FileMaker, but I can’t seem to find a way to do this in Airtable, unless I add lookup fields in each table?
Any idea/solution would be greatly appreciated - thanks!
You need to lookup the lookup!!!!
Basically lookup the detail in the linked record and lookup that lookup, gets you one level deeper into the links.
I just figured this out after 5 years of being stuck on how i could do this effectively without making a massive mess of columns.
Using it to find the full lineage of tasks and the parents to child relationships and then sorting tasks by this lineage.
