Need "modified time" field for Zapier, but the relevant trigger is a formula field

Hi,I need to trigger Zapier to send SMS one hour before an appointment we have in our CRM.I built an IF formula field that checks that the event is not cancelled, it’s of certain type and that it is one hour from event start (AND formula with several check points), returns “Send SMS” when all is green.I had hoped to use this field to trigger Zapier, but Zapier needs a “time modified” field to trigger. And one can’t define a time modified field for a formula field….None of the relevant fields are “written”, they are formula fields, and I really need a combination of criteria OK before triggering.And I don’t have Airtable automations left to use for this :).What workarounds have you come up with?Rgds,Björn

I would recommend using an Airtable View to help you solve this problem. Views are basically the same Airtable table data presented differently. You can create filters for this view to only see records in that view that you want to trigger off the zap. Perhaps you can create a View that only displays records where the formula field that you specified is True or displays a specific value. That way you will only see records in that view that you want to trigger the zap.

In Zapier you can create a Zap that trigger when a record enters a specific view. Something that is important to note is that in Zapier you won’t see a “New Record in View” trigger, but will have to select the “New Record” trigger and then specify the “Limit to View” field in the next configuration step.
