Adding column for updating price

Would you mind providing more detail of your current setup?
 

Can’t you just update the price inline on your existing field? Or are you handling products on one table, and price list on a different table? Did you play around with the “allow to expand record details” option and edit from the expanded view?

Thank you for your quick reply actually iam holding ingredients and price in the same table ( Ingredients) 

Yes  I already allow to expand record, but my challenge is having more than 300 ingredients

It will hard to open each on to update specially vegetables & fruits on daily basic
