We don’t currently have the ability to do that I think, and you can submit a product request here: https://community.airtable.com/p/product-ideas

Portals for Business / Enterprise let you add a logo to the login page but I don’t think that helps here

Two workarounds that come to mind are:

  1. If you’re using a List / Grid layout and allowing users to click into each Invoice record, you could:
    1. Add an attachment field to the Invoices table and put your logo in there
      1. This is an overly simplified example, in practice you’d want another table that contained the logo and link it to all your invoices and use a lookup field
    2. Display this in the Record Details layout
  2. If you’re using the ‘Dashboard’ layout, you can add a Custom Interface Element and get Omni to just generate something that’ll display the logo for you
    1. Not too sure how well this’ll work as each Custom Interface Element takes up a minimum amount of space on the layout
  3. If you’re using the ‘Blank’ layout you could try to hack something together by:
    1. Have a table with a single record in it where you upload the logo
    2. Add a Record Picker and filter it so that only that record is selected
    3. Add an attachment field to display the logo there

Could you talk a bit about what you’re trying to do here?  Are you inviting people as read-only so that they can see their invoices or something?  Just curious as I’m more familiar with users creating invoices as PDFs and sending them out

@Kev B

Unfortunately, Airtable doesn’t allow adding images onscreen except in attachment fields (or at the top of a form). Be sure to add this as a feature request on the product feedback page.

However, if you’re looking to create a custom interface for your customers that gives you full design capabilities to add your own images anywhere on the screen that you’d like, then you would need to look into a 3rd-party customer portal that works with Airtable.

The most popular 3rd-party portals that are currently available for Airtable are:
ZiteNolocoJetAdminSoftrPoryGlide, and MiniExtensions.

I gave an entire one-hour webinar on Noloco called Building a Client Portal on Noloco powered by Airtable.

If you’re looking to automate the printing or emailing of invoice PDFs that include your logo, then you would need to look into a 3rd-party document generation app.

Your 4 top options for this are:

  1. DocuMint — the original document creation app for Airtable. Creates PDF files.
  2. DocsAutomator — creates Google Docs documents or PDF files.
  3. Typeflow — creates PDF files.
  4. Make’s integrations — which can be integrated with any document-creation app of your choosing, even something as simple as custom Microsoft Word documents.

Hope this helps!
