Business Plan - Read-only Interface Sharing without access to base data

As I'm not entirely confident of the following, grateful if anyone can confirm if my understanding is correct before I upgrade to the Business plan.

On the Business Plan:

  • I can share all pages in an interface via a read-only link where users cannot access/duplicate the base data
  • I can prevent these read-only users from sharing the interface
  • I do not have to pay extra for read-only users

Note: In my use case, all users will be airtable users and I'm not considering the public link option as I want to keep the Overview page viewable to my users

Hello,

In your use case, you will be able to give read only access to an interface without extra cost, and you can limit users' access to the interface only.

Hi Pascal, thanks very much for your reply! Do you know if I can prevent these read-only users from sharing the interface on the Business plan as well?

Hi Vic,

You need to restict the sharing possibility on the workspace in your account management page:

Read only access users to an interface will see the "share option" but will not have the possibility to do it themselves. If they want to share the interface, a mail for approval will be sent to the owner, you I guess.

If you want to check this, send me a mail address, I will give you a read only access to one of my interfaces.
