 Hello,

I built a robust CRM Base with interfaces for all the field reps in my company - everyone is using the Airtable app on their Iphones.

Everything works great other than the fact that pretty much 99% of the time you cannot simply open the app and access the interface and begin editing accounts, referrals, visit logs etc. When someone opens the app, the record is un-editable, and you need to force close / re open the app to be able to start editing whatever it was you wanted to do.

There isn't even a "swipe up refresh" function that many apps have - that I thought might be help.

Any advice on how to mitigate this? It is super annoying for everyone.

Hey @MaddieJ bringing this up to your attention. Maybe a ticket can be created?

Should be a temporary issue. Airtable does A/B testing when releasing features, and sometimes those features are buggy. Happened to me a month ago and disappeared after a week. I had to put the interface in edit mode and re-publish.

Hey @SebastianM

How many users do you have in your team with access on Airtable?

I am not an iPhone user, but on Android, I have the same troubles. More than this Airtable becomes easily very expensive if many users join the paid plan.. So I would recommend building your interfaces on platforms like Noloco, Softr, or Glide (depending on your app usage). This will improve the user experience also.

Feel free to post any relative questions.

Thanks,

Hey @SebastianM,

Thanks for reaching out. I think submitting a ticket to our Help Center would be the best action here, and let me know if you have any issues with that process.

Been longer than a month and every rep reporting the same issue. I’ll look into republishing like you mentioned

Thanks for the reply,

We have 8 users on our plan using the interfaces. If that seems like a lot then I will look into using one of the other services like you mentioned and see if that fixes the issue.
