I am new to Airtable and having trolled the site, youtube, internet and anywhere else I could think of have been unable to find a solution.
Is it possible to create a customised user friendly data entry form to my own design? Instead of a set piece format.

There are no design canvases in Airtable, outside of the Interfaces feature.
Airtable offers forms, but you can get more form design capabilities by using a form app like JotForm or Fillout. Fillout has native integration with Airtable, and JotForm has partial integration with Airtable. To get full integration between JotForm and Airtable, you would need to use an integration tool like Make.
