Does anyone know if Airtable has considered other options for date pickers?
Currently it doesn’t allow for choosing years (which you usually can on typical date picker forms). So unless you use your keyboard, it’s not practical to move to other years or even months ahead.
I've just submitted your idea but can’t hurt for you to submit it as well I reckon. No idea what the metric they use is, but # submissions would likely be one of them?
Hi @SoerenMana,
As Adam mentioned above, unfortunately that isn’t possible in Airtable. I would fill out the form above and also send a feature request email to support@airtable.com.
Fillout is 100% free, and it offers hundreds of features that Airtable’s native forms don’t offer, including month/year date pickers. (See screenshot #1 below.)
Fillout even lets you dynamically prefill date fields based on today’s date, so you can choose the date that automatically appears on the form. (See screenshot #2 below.)
It also lets you display Airtable lookup fields on forms, create new linked records on a form, control access to a form via SSO or email domains, perform math or other live calculations on your forms, accept payments on forms, collect signatures on a form, create multi-page forms with conditional paths, and much more.
I show how to use a few of the advanced features of Fillout on these 2 Airtable podcast episodes:
Thanks guys. Very useful. I have made the suggestion.
Hey @SoerenMana,
As mentioned above by Scott, I would highly suggest you look into Fillout forms. Airtable is really running behind when it comes to form features unfortunately .
We’ve been trying to get more powerful forms for years now.. hopefully some day!
