Hi @Alex_Lerma1
Could you check your field within the base to see if there are field permissions set? It is likely that the field is set so that nobody can edit it.

Hi @Vic_Airtable ,
Thank you for responding! Field permissions are set to "Editors and up" in all fields. I have not modified any field permissions on this base yet. I will say that the interface was built when it was first rolled out, but most dropdown fields have existed in the base prior to the interface release.

I'd like to look at this a bit more closely, @Alex_Lerma1. As I am not able to replicate this behavior unless the field has field permissions set to Nobody. Stay tuned for an email from our support team!
I'm seeing the same thing. Anyone understand what is happening. I have 2 fields set up exactly the same in airtable. Permissions = Editor and up.

Any update on this one? I am also having this issue. Seems a simple radio button would do the trick to toggle on/off. None of my tables have this option. All permissions set to edit and above.
Update would be appreciated... having the same issue.
Also having the same issue. Please assist if possible...
Hey! I would probably suggest reaching out to support@airtable.com.
I’d be happy to go through it together on a brief call of that helps. Maybe we can figure out what is going on, or confirm this is a bug. Happy to help.

If you’re not seeing the option to allow users to add new options, what this means is that:
- You are using an old interface page which has been deprecated by Airtable.
or - You are using the blank interface page (which Airtable no longer updates with new features).
The solution is to re-create your interface page from scratch by creating a brand new interface page (that is NOT based upon the blank layout).
Hope this helps! If you’d like to hire an expert Airtable consultant to help you with anything Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld
