In Airtable, I have a table of faults, a table of handymen, and a table that combines faults and handymen.
I want to set it up so that through the INTERFACE, I can create a new RECORD in the table of faults. Using the LINK TO ANOTHER RECORD field, if the desired value doesn't exist, I want to be able to create the new value through the form in the table of faults.
Is this possible?
+31Nope, this isn't possible I'm afraid. You'd need to provide another form link for them to create a record and then they'd have to come back to the original form
If you're open to third party solutions you can try Fillout (https://www.fillout.com/) which handles this issue and integrates with Airtable
