While building a custom interface in Airtable, I wanted to display smaller images—something like a profile picture in a small circle. But I noticed there’s no way to resize the image component. It either shows up full-size or doesn't fit the layout the way I want.

Is there any possible way?

Hi @Karthick,

Yes, if you're using a Blank Page in the Interface Designer with a Record Picker, you can display the attachment (like a logo or icon) in the header by referencing the attachment field. This will allow the logo to show up as a small image or icon that updates dynamically based on the selected record.

Thank you for reply. I am looking for the below output When i add any type of image (any dimension) then it needs to be updated to below size.

Hi @Karthick,

Note that you can get those small user icons when you create a User field. The User field will display the person’s profile image at that size.

But you will only get that for people who have access to your Airtable base and who have uploaded their own profile image to Airtable.

Other than that, Airtable doesn’t not provide any way to do what you are looking to do, so you would need to resize the images yourself.

You can automatically resize images by using a tool like Make’s image resizing tool, which would resize the images after they’re uploaded to Airtable.

However, if you don’t have any previous experience with Make, it could take many hours or days to learn it.

I’ve assembled a bunch of Make training resources in this thread. For example, here is one of the ways that you could instantly trigger a Make automation from Airtable

I also give live demonstrations of how to use Make in many of my Airtable podcast appearances. For example, in this video, I show how to work with Airtable arrays in Make.
