I created a dashboard with interface designer, containing mostly number elements with the % complete of different categories; when I expand this, I get a list of records in the category, as expected. Great ! But this works only as it should be on the desktop client and also on the iPad client. But not on iPhone !? On iPhone, every Number element on the dashboard I expand, I always get the message “No records yet” ?

I don’t understand this… is there really such a big functional difference between the iPad client and the iPhone client ?

Hm, as a datapoint, I’m able to expand the records from a Count element on an iPhone running Airtable 10.43

If you’re also running 10.43 and having issues, if you could duplicate your base with no data in it and DM me a link to it I’d love to poke at it to see what I can figure out!

Hey @Michel_Billiau,

I wouldn’t be surprised. Mobile experience (specially phone) is not great and I found issues multiple times. If the issue persists, you might want to reach out to support@airtable.com

Completely different matter, but would love to have you join our Airtable Hackathon! Make sure to sign up!!

Thank you for testing this out… but I can confirm that the expand function works fine, on iPad, iPhone and desktop, with a Number element with the Count attribute. As soon you change this to Summary  and take the percent checked of a checkfield i.e “have”  then you get this strange message “No records yet”, and this only on iPhone.

@Michel_Billiau

Looks like you have stumbled upon a bug in the mobile app!

I can confirm that this bug crops up for me on my mobile device when I choose the “percent checked” option for my number summary element.

Please be sure to report this as a bug to support@airtable.com.

Note that when you send Airtable an email, they will automatically send you an automated reply first. You are required to reply to THAT REPLY in order to get a human involved.

Hope this helps!

If you have a budget and you’d like to hire the best Airtable consultant to help you with this or anything else that is Airtable-related, please feel free to contact me through my website: Airtable consultant — ScottWorld

Thank you for this post… I just made a support ticket ...

Ooh thanks for the details about it being on a Summary + Checkbox field!  As a workaround (example base here!), try creating a Formula field that outputs the checkbox value:

Then in your Interface, set it up as ‘Percent filled’:

And this works fine on an iPhone!

great workaround ! Thank you! But I’m still curious about why it is not working on iPhone but it does on iPad; Both have the same OS..Hope Airtable support comes with an answer ;)
