I’m not at my computer right now, but if I recall correctly, I believe that you should be able to do that if you switch to the grid view instead of the list view.
You can do that by choosing from the “Visualizations” option in the right margin.

I have tried in both views and i couldn't. And i asked chat gpt and answer the as follows:
What you're describing is a known limitation of Airtable Interfaces: you can't currently manually reorder the order of records (tasks) from the interface by dragging and dropping. You also can't choose "where" to insert a new task (for example, right below another); Airtable automatically places it at the end, depending on the view order or the data source you're using.
Hey @Nico Larreta,
That is correct. Unfortunately you currently cannot manually re-order/drag and drop records on interfaces -even if using a grid view on the interface. I would highly suggest you submit this as a feature request using this form.
Additionaly, as a last resource you might want to have number type field called Manual Sort, which you should be able to edit inline on your interface. You’ll sort your list by this field, and play around with the numbering for automatically getting that sorted (for sure not as ideal as dragging and dropping).
Hope this helps!

Thank you very much. I'm going to fill out the form. What are the next steps? Does Airtable respond or report anything, or is it just a matter of waiting to see if the feature is activated at some point? Thanks. Hugs.
The latter I would say!

You can reorder records in Grid, List, and Kanban layouts.
Click on any record to open the settings panel on the right-hand side.
First, make sure Inline editing is enabled. This allows users to interact with and adjust records directly in the interface.
Next, open the Sort menu and choose Manual sort.
Once both options are turned on, you will see a small handle on the left side of each record. You can use this handle to drag and drop records into any order you like.

Good morning, Taha. It's great that you were able to help us; we were able to do it. I'm really happy. Thank you so much!!
Oh nice @Taha-Jiruwala! Totally missed that one!

Is this feature only available for certain licenses? I don’t see that option in my account.
Hey @nwolinsk
This should work on any plan. I’ve attached the link to the article above, where the steps are explained in detail. Go through it and you should be able to find the options.
