Can someone guide me on whether there is a way to nest views under major topics/departments? For example, our photo team might want to have different ‘Views’ they use, but I want to group all of their views under one department. Our ecomm team also has different views, but I want to nest them all under ecomm. I work with between multiple departments, so I want to see views grouped by department (photo, ecomm, production, retail, etc.).

We are in the beginning phase of setting up airtable for our teams so we are still learning how this all functions.

Thank you for your help!

Yeap, try creating Sections in views!

And this is how the end result might look:

Hey @caitmcswny,

For further context on how to group vies under sections, as mentioned by Adam above, you can check Airtable’s documentation here

Furthermore, you might want to explore having one Interface per department. I’d highly recommend keeping your team out of the data layer (easy to break stuff), and have them working from neat interfaces build and tailored for their specific needs/role.

Do remember that within any given interface (e.g. Ecomm) you can have multiple pages (similar to how Sections and views would work on the data layer).

If you have any further question on this matter, feel free to grab a slot using this link. I’d be happy to show you around.
