No longer able to create Interface from Base view

So Airtable decided to remove the option to create an interface from a base view? Why? Another nonsensical random change that is a time suck on this new system. We used to be able to create an interface view based directly off a view in Airtable, this was a great feature that no longer exists on any of the newer bases and only available on the grandfathered bases. The way Airtable does this makes things very confusing. Because then you have some bases performing one way with some features and other bases performing completely differently just depending on when the base was created. I’ve even come to report things here and people have been confused, saying “this still works for me” because they are using a base created before the change. I submitted a request that I hope they change this back.
