What is the best way to show subtasks in the timeline view?
I use Airtable to manage projects. Currently they don’t show any kind of relationship and often end up moving across the page because of the default time sort. Ideally they’d group together from the parent. All of the tasks are in one table, labelled either task or subtask, and the subtasks are in a connected to the parent in a linked field.

Do all Tasks have sub-tasks associated to them?
If so, you can always use the Sub-Tasks table as the source for your timeline view, and have them grouped by Task.
Please let me know if that lean solutions works for you, and otherwise we’ll go a different route!

Not all tasks have sub-tasks. I could restructure our WBS to make this happen but i’d rather find a solution within the same table if it exists.
