Unable to apply a filter on an interface anymore

We have an interface where previously (before UI change) we were able to apply a filter to limit the data that was shown but now when you try to add a condition it just shows the hover “Cannot filter on fields”

1. Did you make any change to your base?
2. What field type are you tying to filter for?

If answer to question 1 above is NO, then you will probably want to reach out to support@airtable.com as it might be a bug.

Hmm, what Interface is that specifically?  I want to see if I can replicate it on my side.  If you could duplicate the base with no records in it and DM me that’d be super helpful too

@DavidHurl bro, I just solved this problem for myself!

The point is that you probably applied filters to the individual charts. Doing this creates a sort of "conflict" with the global filters.

By removing the filters from the individual charts and applying them only globally, you should solve the problem!
