I have a main table with records, and linked tables with linked records, they are readable using an interface. I want to enable independend Airtable users to select specific records from those tables, to export or print that selection. They need to be able to do this independently, so one user should be able to select records without those records also being selected for another user.
Hey
Would you mind sharing a screenshot of a demo record and how it should look on the exported/printed version?
Should the export/print show one or multiple records on it?
I’m trying to understand whether this would just look like a csv export/excel. Or whether this should have certain design (e.g. nice pdf).

Hi Mike,
Thanks for reacting. To describe the issue in basic form: I want users of an interface be able to manually select specific records from a table, and export/print that specific selection or records, without altering any data in the underling tables and without any other parallel users noticing it in the records that are presented in the same interface to them. I quess you could describe it as interface-level manual record selection without using the built-in filtering on field values.
Hm when users are in an Interface and are filtering, other users of the Interface aren’t affected by that. For example, in the below gif, I’m filtering by ‘Todo’, but if you had access to the same Interface you could filter by ‘In progress’ without affecting me, and you would see what you expect. We would both be able to print / export as needed
