When someone opens the airtable app, is their a way to make it only show the interface?

I bookmarked the URL for the interface in my web browser and when I click it, it directly opens the interface designer without opening the data layer with the tables and automations and such.

Just to clarify: do you mean when you click on an Airtable base in the workspace on the web app? If so I don’t believe this would be possible for owners.

Hm, so like prevent them from going into the Data layer completely?  If so, I don’t think so; Workspace owners have the highest tier of permissions and I don’t think you can get around that

Correct - as an owner of an Airtable base myself, clicking on bases through the workspace does not open the interface by default every time I click.

My solution was to open my base through the workspace which leads me to the data layer, and I navigated to the interface layer and launched the interface I was interested in. After my interface opened, I saved the URL as a bookmark in my browser so I can just click that to navigate directly to the interface without having to open it through the workspace and data layer.

In workspace pages / on the homepage, if you right click on the base then go to Open > Interface Name, it opens the interface view directly. Its a few more clicks than just using a bookmark each time, but if you’re mostly accessing through the workspace its an option.
