I need to restore, or more exactly, copy part of a snapshot into the base we are currently using. I realize Airtable's intented way of restoring is just to go on using the snapshot instead of the latest version, but this is not possible in this case because there are too many extensions, apps and syncs connected to it + we haven't stopped using it .Details and difficulties disclaimer:The base is a very complex BOM with thousands of records made of different combinations of hundreds of records from 4 or 5 other nested tables where all the names/primary records of all those tables are a formula composed of abbreviations of those linked records. What happened is that I lost data from one of the innermost of those nested tables and that changed the formula names of the parent records, so I can't match them to their copy in the snapshot by finding each by name. The record ids in the snapshot are different than the original, so no api or copy paste method that i know about works, not by name

Hello. I am new to airtable. I have been using it for about a week now. I used the rollup field few days ago and it worked very well. Since yesterday I have been trying to use it but I get the same error message"Sorry, there was a problem creating this field. The options are not valid."I have the fields linked to another table but I don't get why it isn't working.

Hey all, thanks a lot for any help on this… Right now we are manually tracking the performance of TikTok sounds (# creations) and TikTok posts (likes, comments, shares) on AirTable and displaying them on a front-end for our clients on a daily basis. Since this is a manual process, we often miss a day or two in reporting which distorts the results reported on our front-end. In order to feel comfortable putting the front-end app in the hands of our clients at scale I would need to somehow automate the scraping of this data such that I know its going to get recorded every day without fail. Does anyone know how this this type of data scraping works? I am looking to hire a consultant to help us set it up. Thanks a lot for your help.

After spending the entire day trying to figure out on my own, I have decided to employ some help!I have a form setup where my techs can upload info and photos that populate a filtered view. Once the form is submitted, it triggers an email to be sent to my inbox with all of the attached photos. It ONLY works when done on a phone and does not work when the form is completed on a regular browser. If done on a desktop the automation fails. Additionally, when the form is completed on the form, only some of the photos are attached in the automated email. The end goal here is to then take this email and have PowerAutomate or Zappier to load it into my OneDrive.Thanks,Ben

Hey everyone, I’m having trouble creating an employee scheduling base that has the functionality I’m looking for. Our company is a delivery service, and services close to 50 regions. For each region, there is at least one “opener” and one to two “closers”. The functionality I’m looking for: Be able to create weekly schedules by assigning employees to region shifts on specific dates Display employees in each shift based on their availability Have the ability to account for “call-outs”, which will be submitted through a form Have an easy UI for managers to create the schedule for each week The biggest problem I have run into is the date functionality, as there is no way I see to create a “week start date” function and have the rest of the week populate like in excel. Our innovation center at Yale University is looking to pull our onboarding process for staff and student employees into Airtable to use automations and interfaces. Right now it's in aTrello board and Google docs. We've even got a great template to start, but my team lacks the capacity and interface expertise to pull this into Airtable. We are also interested in exploring whether or not a room reservation system could be housed in Airtable and a few other ad hoc Airtable projects. I'm looking for someone who has experience designing Airtable interfaces, who is available to meet remotely on occasion between 9am and 4pm EST, who can complete these projects by mid-July.

We are looking for an Airtable developer who can create a custom integration between Airtable and our ERP software (from ProConcept) to sync inventory levels. Our base is an AirPower template, which is feeding our Shopify website in development. The CSV generated by the ERP has only five fields: product name, reference number, EIN number, MSRP, and quantity. Hello, I am using Airtable to manage a small 3d printing workshop. I am looking for someone who can help automate a very tedious task, presumably by developing a community based app. The end result is that Id like to have a 2d image automatically generated and placed in an attachments field, the 2d image needs to be that of whatever 3d STL file is contained in another attachments field for the same entry. The image is used in the Kanban view as a means of easily identifying the part/job as it progresses through production, and the image will also be used in the page designer block for printing a part label, ideally the image needs to be grey scale for ease of black/white label printing. Currently I manually load the 3d STL file into a 3d viewer such as Windws 3D Builder, take a screen shot, and save the screen shot in the entrys attachments field. I’m looking for an Airtable developer to help us build a few things for our virtual events business: UPS Tracking integration. We pull in the Tracking numbers from Shipstation, but want it to auto-look up in Airtable (the Shippo API should allow this), so we don’t have to manually track Zoom attendee import. For our events, we’d love to pull in which attendees actually showed up for the event as compared to the ones who registered using the Zoom reports API. Dashboards. I’d love to build a few dashboards around our data and in general make some of our data easier to manage We are pretty good at formulas within Airtable and I have an automator who does Zapier on staff, so I’m really looking for someone who could build on top of Airtable with external APIs. Dear Airtable people,I have paid a total of two experts) 😞 so far to help set up a system on airtable to replace our content management software and to sync to our shopify store creating invoices etc and allowing some customization. But the main one abandoned the project due to moving country and getting a permanaent job before it was completely finished. We are an art gallery so need individualization. It nearly works but is still confusing and clunky for me and I am lost and stressed. Basically we are paying for two  things  - my old cms system and airtable and neither are updated and working properly.So before I abandon airtable forever I am hoping that I can get someone in to tidy this up. It should not be too complicated. Just help with the interface and some functionality and maybe help delete things not in use etc.Please let me know if you can help. Hello,My team uses a very well established and highly functional base as a Project Management and/or CRM tool. This base allows us to manage projects, client interactions, and project tasks. Unfortunately, we have hit the record, and we cannot determine a path forward to split or remove information from the base without negatively affecting the usability of the base itself.Faced with what is apparently our only option if we want to stay with Airtable (move to the enterprise plan), we are seeking a knowledgeable Airtable consultant to provide us with guidance on what to do in this case. We don't need anything on the Enterprise plan except for the higher record limit, so that appears to be not only incredibly expensive, but also mostly unnecessary (except for the higher record limit, which is very much necessary).Can anyone help?
