Hi - I have a table, which each has one image (receipts). The PDF quality of the receipts is high, but when I add a box of the image in Page Designer, it seems to drop significantly in quality, so much, that i’m not sure I can use page designer as I had intended.Any tips/thoughts/fixes on the way?

What is the proposed idea/solution?Allow users to assign different detail pages based on conditions.When a user expands a record from an interface, allow users to change which details page opens based on conditions of the expanded record.Setting the conditions could work using a UI similar to the one conditional coloring uses.What is the problem?There are many instances where I have records that share 90% of the same info, but based on some differences - such as Type or Status, need to be interacted with differently.For example, for my business we track furnishings and fixtures we refer to as "Items" for architectural projects. We need to ensure that certain pieces of information are recorded for each Item, but what pieces of information we need varies based on the Type of Item. There are so many different kinds of information that we need to record that we have as many as 120 different fields in our Items Table. ideally, we could show only those fields that apply based on a condition,

We have a lot of fields to display in grid or list views and try to minimize the width of fields, but the field type icon gets in the way from a readability perspective. Just place it on the right side or hide it altogether. The user cares more about what the title of the field is not what type it is and the we want to be able to know it is the correct field at a glance. Or you could a checkmark somewhere in preferences whether the icon should be displayed at all (I'd rather see it on hover or something and would turn it off on all views). Thanks!

What is the proposed idea/solution?It would be a game changer when working with hierarchical data for the roll-up field's ARRAYUNIQUE(values) function to return clickable linked record values instead of a comma-separated string when aggregating a linked record field from the source table.Currently, users can only represent one level of a linked record hierarchy as linked record values using lookup fields without risking duplicate linked record values. Multi-selected linked record lookups/roll-ups can lead to confusing UX and fewer group-by options.How does is solve the user problems?This would serve as a workaround for the strange user experience that occurs when using a roll-up field to return a lookup field of multi-selected linked records. What is the proposed idea/solution?It would be more robust, avoid more errors and dave time if form fields could be pre filled manually or dynamically. While designing a form, each field would offer a "manual" and a "dynamic" option just like in automations. Hiding (or locking) pre filled fields would also work from the interface so that the pre filled info is guaranteed to be included in the submission.How does is solve the user problems?At the moment we pre fill forms and hide fields through the suggested URL strings. As soon as parts of the URL go missing while being shared and shared and copied and pasted, the whole thing no longer works.

What is the proposed idea/solution?It would be very helpful if we could simultaneously meet multiple conditions in an automation.How does is solve the user problems?We often send out Emails to users via automations. The content depends on a set of parameters. At the moment we need to build endless combinations of conditions in order to work with the existing hierarchy of how the conditions are executed. As soon as the first condition is met, all other possibilities are no longer looked at by the automation. Looking at all conditions and executing all conditions that are met would totally liberate the way we need to use automations.

What is the proposed idea/solution?I would like to have one account with multiple emails associated rather than having 3-4 Airtable accounts with only a couple workspaces in each. Perhaps there is a master email login (like on LinkedIn, where you can add multiple emails associated with the same account), or there is a user ID used instead of an email. Regardless, when someone invites you onto a project with one of your emails, those projects are all housed under one roof. When you get an invitation and the email isn't already added to an account, the invitation can ask you if you'd like to link it to an existing account or if you'd like to create a new one.How does is solve the user problems?Right now, I have multiple accounts because a new one is created for a work email vs personal vs volunteer projects. It's frustrating to have to switch back and forth between different accounts rather than being able to combine them into one account and set up different workspaces for each project.

What is the proposed idea/solution?Would be nice to have the ability to include images directly to the interface, let's say I'm building a client portal, and I want some kind of design on it, perhaps a large banner to say hello to my client portal interface, or perhaps to separate a section with a small image that says Files or archives, to have buttons that guide to documents attached or linked to that certain user...How does is solve the user problems?Allowing more personalisation within the interface panel, right now is a tad limited from the design perspective, I',m wishing to use it on a daily basis with my clients :)!...How was this validated?...Who is the target audience?people that want to make the interface for their clients better looking 🙂

What is the proposed idea/solution?Suggestion of a new view type, Map view, this view would allow me to upload an image file (a map), make records and place the records onto the map. This would be an X,Y, coordinate field within the record. How does is solve the user problems?This would help me when documenting / auditing equipment installed at a customer site! I would now be able to assign a physical location to each record and visually present a map with icons representing each item placed onto the map.How was this validated?I don't know.Who is the target audience?At the moment I am thinking Wi-Fi engineers, but this could also be attractive to anybody trying to record physical location data.

I realize row height selection has been made possible to address this but I don’t think it really solves the problem. If I have a cell that’s just one line longer than the extra-tall it’ll still be cut off and have to be manually expanded. Not to mention if I have everything at extra-tall, many rows take up a huge amount of dead air space eventhough they don’t need it because they don’t have much text. For visual ease-of-use, I’ve found this a huge barrier to get teams on board with using an airtable version because at a glance it is harder to review and scroll through (people don’t like to click things or view things one at a time). I understand it’s more beautiful with exact consistent row heights, but can we have an extra option that is not default under “extra tall” that is “dynamic/variable/whatever word you choose” that just expands to the height of the text? Please? I like your product but its a major barrier for me (and my company - separate account).~That and a rich text optio

It’s great that you have the SnapShot option but in my experience, we only remember it’s there when it’s too late. We often don’t remember to do Snapshots and it would be stellar if we could set up an “auto snapshot” to happen at least 1x a day. We have a Pro-Paid account. Please and Thank You!

We need the graphs to present the data values on each bar or bie chart, now you need to move the cursor on the graph to know the values which will not be useful in case you present those graphs in a separate presentation by cropping them out into a predestined presentation slides.

At some point, you can get a lot of fields in one table. I would like a way to organize my field: like field collections or groups. I have made a simple mock-up of how it could in an expanded record.Field collection would help when the same records go through many different processes (like a video production)It would make it easier to hide/unhide a group of fields a onceIt could be used to create a horizontal grouping in a grid view where field a group together instead of records group by fields.It would make it easier to find the field you’re looking for when you have a big record.

Occasionally I find the need to be able to add a general comment to an entire table (not base, not record).  Would be great if you can add a function to the table drop-down, like 'add attachments'.  The attachment might be a PowerPoint presentation providing context for the table, and excel file explaining calculations, etc.

I am really afraid of someone deleting my base. It would be great if bases could be password protected or backed up somewhere else.

Please add a signature field. Seriously… I could get rid of two different apps & move all my databases to Airtable if you could add a signature field.

Since the interface is a better tool for scalability and training, it would be extremely helpful, like showing labels, to show field descriptions. I figure this would only be needed if there is a need to show the label. I imagine it something like this:

I don't think presenting answers horizontally in a linear fashion is a new idea. It is fairly standard on feedback or survey forms. Can we make it an option rather than the default vertical display of answers for a question?

When doing a new CSV import, you can add records, modify existing ones, but you can’t delete records from your old table that aren’t in the new dataset.It would be good to have this as an option, or at least highlight the records that are from a previous import which weren’t present in a new csv import.

It would be great if we could get the barcode scanner working in forms.
