Pretty simple, really. Just allow a way to add a comment on graphs, so that notable points can be labeled. For example, on Google Sheets this is possible with a ‘comment’ field.
This would do wonders for collaboration, when one person can add a comment to note why a graph changed or spiked, and others could be on the same page. This could also tie into calendar events or when tasks are completed to show up as well.
