I hope I’m in the right thread…I’m looking for a way to have an entry at least partially auto-populate when I scan the bar code—specifically books and movies. I’d love to simply scan the isbn and have the book or movie title, and author if possible, appear in the base I have open. Then I can go back in later to add any tags or fields that the isbn of course could not auto generate. This would make my life SO much easier.
Is there a way to already do this? Even a workaround that isn’t too cumbersome should be fine. My search within the forums came up empty, but I not know if my search terms are right. If there isn’t currently a way, can we add that to the list?
